Previous 2022 Additions include: New H&M leather sofa and chair, Pottery Barn ottoman, glass top GE range, larger capacity LG refrigerator with ice maker, new stainless-steel cook ware, and white wicker headboard and bedside table for the guest room. The Pottery Barn Seagrass headboard for the master bedroom and two Hotel Collection Queen sized beds were added for the 2021 season. Catch the breeze and spectacular open water views from Coastal Cottage – a direct river-front gem on the St. Martin River. Serene water-front views in every room of this very comfortable 3 BR, 2 full-bath family beach vacation home. This summer rental is tastefully furnished in vintage country cottage furniture, hand-made carpets, maritime artwork, comfy beds, leather sleep sofa, side chair, and ottoman. A screened porch invites you outdoors. Also enjoy beautiful sunsets or sunrises from the roomy sundeck. Visit the Ocean Club for a day at the beach. Launch your boat, crab, fish, or swim from our private boat dock equipped with a marine ladder. Boaters welcome! WIFI Internet has been boosted to a faster broadband signal to ensure uninterrupted use of multiple IOT devices. Also, new full sized bean bag toss game. LINENS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. The Ocean Pines Beach Club, across the route 90 bridge, boasts a full ocean block on the beach. Ocean Pines tennis, and golf club (individual or household) memberships are sold separately by the OP Association to summer guests. Small beaches also line the river near the cottage and are accessible by boat. Pintail Park, which is close to the property, provides a Kayak launch, picnic tables, a covered gazebo and crabbing pier. There are hiking trails within the 11-acre park. Golf, tennis, swimming, boating, fishing/crabbing, kayaking, hiking, and days at the beach are available in Ocean Pines. Enjoy 2 flat-screen HDTVs, 2 Sony DVR players, Wifi, family cable television package, Sony surround sound system, a bright kitchen and relaxing screen porch, sun deck, and parking for 4 cars.. Sleeps a maximum of 6 persons: 2 Queen Beds, Bunk Bed (full top and bottom), 1 Full Sleep Sofa – bring linens (sheets, pillowcases, and towels). A local Linen Rental Service Company is available in Ocean City that can change how you pack for the beach. Details and contact information are listed below. OCEAN PINES BEACH CLUB (OCEAN CLUB), located in Ocean City between 49th & 50th streets ocean side, offers private parking and restrooms. NOTE: Coastal Cottage makes a PARKING PASS for one vehicle available for your use at the Ocean Pines Beach Club located in Ocean City, Maryland, starting in June. Ocean Pines pools are based on a "pay as you go daily gate entrance fee per person." Pay as you go allows you to access all pools for the day you have paid with a valid receipt. OCEAN PINES SKATE PARK (open 8am to dusk). The Ocean Pines Skate Park was opened in 2009 for community youth and was designed and built by Artisan Skate Park as the latest recreational outlet offered by Ocean Pines. The skate park is open to all registered community members and registered guests. Skaters must complete a signed waiver in order to enter and skate in the park. GUEST ACCESS TO THE COTTAGE: The upper level of the cottage includes 3 BRs, 2 Full Baths (including a Master Bedroom shower and hall bath tub and shower), LR, DR, Kitchen, Sun Deck, and Screened Porch, The lower level is private storage for the owners. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: A full information package will be mailed out to you well prior to the week(s) you reserved. Parking at the Ocean Pines Beach Club requires a permit, and is provided by the owner of Coastal cottage for one vehicle at no additional cost. CHECK-IN TIME IS BETWEEN 3:00 PM AND 5:00PM to allow for property to be cleaned and ready. CHECK OUT TIME IS PRIOR TO 10:00 AM AND IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. FISHING AND CRABBING FROM PRIVATE DOCK AT COASTAL COTTAGE. Good news! If you intend to fish from the Owner’s dock – Maryland Department of Natural Resources allows fishing from the private waterfront properties free (no permits or fees) for owners and guests who complete a “saltwater angler registration” with them. Coastal Cottage has been registered but you will also need to register as a guest by visiting www.dnr.md.gov or by calling (855) 855-3906. Crabbing from the waterfront property is limited to two large crab cages that are left for you at the back of the house near the water - please wash with fresh water after use to extend the life of the cages. A crab bucket, steam pot, long tongs, roll of craft paper, and crab picking tools are also provided. Crabs can be caught in April through November. Additional fees may apply for some community amenities including pools, golf, tennis, etc., please inquire. This is a non-group rental home, and it is NOT available for high school/college “Beach Week.” Cancellation fee will apply. A stainless-steel railing system installed on the deck completed in 2019. New vinyl siding and windows installed for the 2017 season. Hall bath renovated for summer 2018.
